Luissed Yibirin is a Venezuelan-born artist currently seeking a Bachelor in Fine Art at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Since she was little she has always been very nostalgic; she had had feelings about the past that was leaving and that she, strangely, easily understood would not return. The idea of considering the past, analyzing it, and accepting it, but not retaining it is what she wants to evoke with her works. Subtly aspects and objects of the culture and religion in which she was raised are represented in many of her works, creating a space between bright and opaque tones that form an atmosphere of nostalgia.
